Occupational Therapy with Nature
Occupational Therapy helps you to overcome the barriers that prevent you from doing the occupations that are part of your daily life. An Occupational Therapist can help you live life to its fullest no matter your health condition, disability, of risk factors. Occupational Therapy is a client-centered health profession, concerned with promoting health and well being.
Occupational Therapy with Nature, is Occupational Therapy with the use of nature When using nature, therapy no longer seems like therapy, but rather an enjoying and fun time. This is one of the many reasons that I use nature in therapy.
Occupational Therapists work with people and communities to improve their ability to do the occupations they would like to do, need or expected to do. Occupational Therapist receive education in many different fields, including medical, psychosocial, social, psycological and behavioural training. Enabling them to work with a vast majority of disabilities, in sessions that can be individual, family or groups.
I am passionate about OT and has been practicing for 30 years, always using the power of nature in therapy sessions.
Occupational Therapy gives people the “skills for the job of Living”,
necessary for “living life to its fullest”.
